Module Aims:
To encourage students to draw upon, apply and integrate research skills associated with analysis, evaluation and the presentation of complex material.
To provide students with the opportunity to pursue, in-depth, a specific area of interest by developing and demonstrating the business-related skills acquired during their studies.
To encourage students to adopt a more critical reflective approach to problem solving at University and in employment.
To enable students to develop their employability skills, including basic academic skills, higher-order thinking skills and personal qualities achieved through learning methods that ensure sustainable outcomes.

Module Aims:
To analyse and critically evaluate the factors which constitute and influence the Global business environment, in terms of the complex and unpredictable variables and contexts important to international business, and their reactions to those variables and contexts and changes to them.
The aims of the module, therefore, are to facilitate a systematic understanding of the key aspects of global business, including acquisition of coherent and detailed knowledge at the forefront of defined aspects of this discipline. Enhancing the student's ability to manage their own learning by making effective use of scholarly reviews and primary sources (for example, refereed research articles and/or original materials appropriate to the discipline) is another related aim of the module.
